Juvenile Arthritis Research is a charity making a difference to the lives of those affected by juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA). We are a parent-led charity with direct experience of JIA, and are run entirely by volunteers. We rely entirely on fundraising and donations, with every penny raised going directly towards the work we do.
Thank you for supporting us through fundraising. Click on the buttons below for more information, and to find out about some of the different ways you can fundraise for us.
Other ways to support Juvenile Arthritis Research
The JAR Shop
Our unique online shop is packed full of clothing for both children and adults. As well as clothing specific to those with JIA, we also have a range of designs with wider appeal too! We have carefully chosen our supplier who ensures that the clothing is made with organic cotton, which is ethically produced and farmers are paid a fair price. They are committed to minimising their impact on the environment, with renewable energy, recycling water, and plastic-free packaging. Our clothing can now be shipped internationally! And with the design studio, you can create your own unique clothing.
There are always things to do to help support a small charity. Whether it’s contacting local businesses to explain who we are and what we do, or helping plan events, whatever your skills and interests are, there will be something you can do. So if you have some spare time and would like to help, do get in touch.
Schools and clubs
We have information and resources to support schools and clubs. From information about what juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA) is, through to a ready-made assembly presentation, and from ideas on how your school or club can support us through to how we can support you.
Your business or organisation
There are a number of ways your business can support us, whether through fundraising or raising awareness. We would love to partner with you to help reach our vision, where no child has to suffer from arthritis.
Healthcare professionals and researchers
If you are a healthcare professional or researcher with an interest in JIA, we would like to hear from you. As well as our own research projects, we support hospitals, universities and other research organisations both as partners and as PPI representatives (public and patient involvement). Please get in touch.
