At Juvenile Arthritis Research, we are committed to finding a cure for juvenile idiopathic arthritis, a crippling autoimmune disorder that attacks the joints and affects 1 in every 1,000 children under the age of 16. Find out more about JIA...
We are also determined to raise awareness that children and young people get arthritis. As awareness of this condition increases, diagnosis can happen quicker and treatment can start sooner. Research has shown that earlier treatment can lead to better outcomes.
We have created the #ThinkJIA campaign to raise awareness of JIA and the need for prompt referral and early diagnosis. The campaign is aimed at both parents and health professionals. Find out more about the #ThinkJIA campaign...
