Donate to support our vital work
At Juvenile Arthritis Research (JAR), we are committed to finding a cure for juvenile idiopathic arthritis, a crippling autoimmune disorder that attacks the joints and affects 1 in every 1,600 children under the age of 16*. We also raise awareness that children and young people get arthritis – because greater awareness leads to faster diagnosis, quicker treatment and better outcomes.
We value the input and support from health and medical professionals in our work. If you work in a health-related field and would like to collaborate with us, please get in touch. Whether your work is directly in juvenile arthritis, in another autoimmune condition, or any other related health field, you may have insights and connections that would help us find a cure for juvenile arthritis more quickly.

* "Around 1 in 1,600 children are diagnosed with JIA" is based on our latest research (https://doi.org/10.1093/rheumatology/kead700). The previous estimate of around 1 in 1,000 may continue to appear on our website and in some of our printed materials whilst we update to the new figures.
