Juvenile Arthritis Research holds Zoom calls for parents and carers of children with Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA) in the UK, as a safe place to chat and share with others. We know that being a parent/carer of a child with JIA can feel lonely, and we often all have questions that others might have the answers to based on their own experiences. The Little Network of Hope Zoom calls help bring parents and carers together.
If you would like to join us, please RSVP by completing the short form below.
Important information:
We will send you the link to the Zoom room a few days before the event. Please do not share that link with anyone else as we need to keep the group secure. If you know another parent of a child with JIA who would like to join, invite them to complete this form and we will send them the Zoom link directly. During the Zoom call, please keep your camera switched on for safeguarding purposes. Microphones should be kept off unless you are speaking (this helps keep background noises to a minimum). We know what life as a JIA parent can be like, and that sometimes things change but if you sign up please do try to attend.
Whilst we can share our own experiences to support each other, we are unable to give specific medical advice. Please speak to your own rheumatology team if you have any questions about your child's condition. Please do not signpost to any medical information during the Zoom session as we cannot check and verify the source and accuracy of that information.
Data protection statement:
By completing this form, you are confirming that you are happy for Juvenile Arthritis Research to hold the details you provide for the purposes of administering the Little Network of Hope Zoom call. We will hold this information for the call you are signed-up for, and to let you know about future similar calls. You are free to leave the email list at any time.
