Support our vital work
Join Juvenile Arthritis Research for an exciting children's climbing experience at Clip 'n Climb Leeds on Sunday 12 July 2026 at 11:15am. This fun-filled event is designed for children to enjoy an active adventure together in a safe, supportive and inclusive environment.
This family-focused event is also a fantastic opportunity for JAR families across the North to meet, connect and share experiences. As we continue to build our community of support, the event provides a relaxed and welcoming space for families to make new connections, exchange experiences and enjoy time together with others who understand their journey.
Our children and young people will have the opportunity to tackle a variety of colourful climbing challenges and build confidence. Whether your child is an experienced climber or trying climbing for the first time, there are challenges to suit a range of abilities and plenty of opportunities to celebrate personal achievements.
After the climbing session, pizza will be provided for the children.
Parents and carers must remain on site throughout the event and are responsible for their children at all times. Spaces are limited, so early booking is recommended.
We look forward to welcoming you for a morning of fun!

Read Selma's write-up of the event here.
This event took place in central London on 12 October 2025. See our social channels for photos and more information and read the write up from one of the young people attending here.
Children with JIA and their siblings enjoyed a special way to design their own T-shirts, followed by pizza in a fun and relaxed environment. As with all our events, meeting others with the same condition and making new friends was a big part of the day.
Children spent time making some incredible chocolate creations whilst parents/carers had time and space to talk and share experiences.
In this event, children created Easter Crafts, decorated with chocolates.
An event for children with JIA and their siblings, where children were able to meet and handle a wide variety of animals, including rabbits, skinny-pigs, snakes, tortoises and toads!
